For the last few months, I’ve been collaborating on a book pitch, and while I can’t share all the images, here is one that I did about celibacy. I had an obsession with illuminated manuscripts and monks as a student, and apparently that hasn’t changed.

Speaking of monks, I recently salvaged an old unfinished painting from my old studio when visiting LA. I usually don’t touch old paintings, but loved how they fit with the frames, so I brought it back to NY and finished it up this past week.

The little ninja star and bible tassel are painted in antique gold to match the frame.
